Jon also gives a brief on why the writers’ strike started at the first place: the writers want extra pay cheques for the show contents that are put on the internet.  This raises a very interesting question, namely why is that people contribute to Wikipedia never ask to be paid?  Writing a Wiki page is no easy task, it involves research, learning to use wiki-language, and of course, good writing skill (the viewers know a bad piece when they see one), among other things.

What do you think?  Should the writers get paid for the TV contents that are put on the internet?
